Each month, our ZWE Changemakers campaign sheds a spotlight on one of our member organisations.

This month, we present Zero Waste Italy.

Italy was the birthplace of zero waste cities in Europe and continues to be home to the highest number of municipalities that are implementing zero waste strategies today.

With 326 municipalities joining the zero waste network, the organisation works tirelessly with all stakeholders to assist communities to move towards practices that prevent waste creation in the first place.
