Zero Waste France

Zero Waste France is a Paris-based NGO, created in 1997, to advocate for waste reduction and recycling in France.

The organisation is working with stakeholders to improve regulations concerning waste management. Zero Waste France also leads campaigns to raise public opinion, and work with new actors willing to get involved in Zero Waste programmes (municipalities, entrepreneurs, local groups, etc.).

  • Plastic and packaging: follow up of EPR scheme and advocacy work on the Single Use Plastics Directive
  • Lawsuit against Fast-food for having no sorting bins on their premises
  • Lawsuit against big brands for not respecting the STOP ADVERTS stickers on mailboxes of individuals
  • Support and coordination of 50 local groups
  • Organisation of a second Zero Waste Festival
