Lviv, Ukraine
Zero Waste Alliance Ukraine was founded by three Ukrainian NGOs - Zero Waste Lviv from Lviv, Ozero (now Zero Waste Society) from Kyiv, and Kharkiv Zero Waste from Kharkiv in 2018. The main point of this collaboration was to present a united front in zero waste advocacy in Ukraine, as well as supporting each other and other Ukrainian NGOs.

By 2021, the Alliance joined the Zero Waste Cities programme –  Lviv and Liubotyn signed the commitment to become Zero Waste Cities, conducted up to ten informational and advocacy campaigns such as WeChooseReuse, EnvironMenstrual Week, Plastic Free July, Brand Audit etc. At the moment, the Alliance is working on including new members, advocating anti-incineration and pushing forward the Zero Waste Cities approach in Ukraine.
