Zero Waste Alliance Bulgaria is a network of NGOs, businesses, influencers and individuals working on zero waste.
The Alliance was created in 2019 and since then has worked together on statements on legislation changes, awareness raising, common campaigns and events. Together we have helped implement the SUP Directive in Bulgaria and we still insist on the reduction of single-use plastic products and reusable solutions.
Our main goals are:
- Help public institutions and events become more sustainable by reducing their waste
- Support common and local campaigns and events to raise awareness of plastic pollution
- Build stronger connections in the zero-waste community in Bulgaria
