Zero Waste France
Paris, France
Zero Waste France is a citizens' NGO, founded in 1997, and one of the most prominent voices advocating for waste reduction in France. It works to influence decision-makers to improve regulations on waste management, to raise awareness with the general public and, more broadly, to transform production and consumption patterns.
Zero Waste France also acts as an umbrella organisation for over 70 local groups involved in local advocacy and citizens’ mobilisation. At the local level, the Zero Waste movement in France also works with municipalities implementing ZW programmes.
