Zero Waste Estonia SA, formerly known as Let’s Do It Foundation (LDIF), empowers organisations and individuals to thrive in their efforts toward sustainability. Established in 2011 to support the global civic movement for nationwide cleanups, they have since mobilised 36 million people across 169 countries. With a mission to unite communities, raise awareness, and drive meaningful change, they continue working toward a waste-free world.

In 2024, they updated their name to Zero Waste Estonia SA (ZWEE), reflecting their focus on zero waste principles and their growing role in sustainability efforts both globally and locally in Estonia. Following the success of World Cleanup Day, the largest civic action against waste, they now concentrate on long-term solutions through education, training, and capacity building.

ZWEE’s activities include delivering training to build Zero Waste competencies for both ambassadors of the topic and trainers who educate others on zero waste. They take pride in their teaching methodology, which focuses on how people learn and how to build their capacity to apply the knowledge in their work at a municipal level. Their target groups are mainly change-makers within organised entities. Since its inception, Zero Waste Estonia SA has continued to expand its knowledge and expertise on how campaigns can be effective for systemic change. Thus, they also train campaigners who wish to become more effective in change management through public campaigns. They also specialize in the role of technology in system change and can lead, partner, or consult on tech-related research and development programs to enable community leaders to have the tools necessary to help zero waste become a reality.
