Friends of the Earth - SPZ, Slovakia, have been working in Slovakia since 1996 as a non-profit organisation protecting the environment and nature both in Slovakia and Europe. The organisation concentrates on minimalisation of pollution caused by waste and toxic substances.
Marginally, they support sustainable solutions of ecological problems and study their economic and social impacts on society. While doing their best to stop activities dangerous both for humans and nature, they are providing and realising sustainable solutions that would not be a threat to future generations and other forms of life.
