Elena Schägg

Elena Schägg has been working for the environmental and consumer protection organisation Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. since February 2018. As part of the circular economy team, she is primarily committed to strengthening reusable systems in Germany. The increasing amounts of packaging are a dramatic development for her. It is even more dramatic that, in her view, too little is being done by politicians to promote sustainable packaging systems. She has a background in resource management.
