Zero Waste Europe Annual General Meeting
22/04/2016 @ 08:00 - 24/04/2016 @ 17:00
The ZWE Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be a great opportunity to look back at all the work done throughout 2015 and develop plans for 2016 and beyond. It’ll be a vital space for discussing ZWE policy positions, networking amongst fellow campaigners and getting to know new ZWE members. All in all, a fantastic chance to strengthen our campaigns and network coordination!
All ZWE members are strongly encouraged to send a representative.
The agenda, more information and registration process will be released shortly.
Ljubljana has a lot to celebrate this year. European Commission published a report on waste management in 28 European capitals, and the Slovenian capital turned out to be the most successful. In 2014 it became the first European capital on the road to Zero Waste, which was one of the key factors for Ljubljana to have been declared the European Green Capital for 2016. Among the five finalists, it was the only one without an incineration plant nor a plan to build one, giving it a significant advantage over the other candidates.
To help us celebrate these achievements and to learn more about their waste management plan, Zero Waste Europe and Ekologi brez meja invite you to join us on two connected events in April 2016 in Ljubljana:
Zero Waste Europe Annual General Meeting 2016 from 22. April – 24. April 2016.
