Pay As You Throw

Austria was the first country to implement individual waste charges in 1945 and since then a lot has happened. Pay as You Throw (PAYT) can be the most successful way to reduce waste and increase recycling but there are many different types of it.

What are the main strengths and weaknesses of these systems? With this webinar you will learn how to move from a flat rate system to a PAYT one with variable fees, using practical examples from different perspectives including those of citizens, municipalities and businesses.
