Has COVID-19 changed zero waste?
The COVID-19 pandemic has completely transformed society and our everyday lifestyles. As we continue to adjust to the realities of managing the pandemic, this webinar will examine whether the COVID-19 crisis has had any long-term impacts on how we design and implement zero waste solutions, both today and in the future.
This webinar will go into greater depth to answer these key questions:
- What can we do to prevent a sustained increase in the use of single-use products? How can we combat the push by the plastics industry for greater single-use products?
- What examples exist of reusable solutions to some of the most problematic and consistent single-use items?
- In the longer-term, how does a zero waste approach ensure the achievement of circular economy goals, whilst continuing to meet the necessary high standards of health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Unfortunately, the webinar platform we use has a maximum capacity of 100 virtual seats. Therefore, to watch the webinar for free, attendance on Zoom will be done a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that only the first 100 people will be able to join on Zoom. However, if you are not part of the first 100 who join at the start of the webinar, then you can still follow the webinar live on our YouTube channel.
