Zero Waste Changemakers: Zero Waste North West

Each month, our ZWE Changemakers campaign sheds a spotlight on one of our member organisations.

This month, we head to Catalonia to our member Zero Waste North West.

Zero Waste North West was set up in 2013 , when there was plans to build a municipal waste gasification facility in Strathfoyle. Following the successful abandonment of the proposal by the council, the organisation expanded to continue educating on and promoting zero waste measures, while collaborating with other organisations to advocate for clean and sustainable communities.
