FROM BARAJAS AIRPORT to TOC Hostel

FROM AIRPORT BY TRAIN (C1)

There is a direct connection from Airport Terminal 4 to Atocha Train Station by train. The train station is on the terminal T4 floor -1, and is called Aeropuerto T4. There is a free shuttle bus service connecting all the terminals. (10 minutes from the rest of terminals to T4)

The Spanish railway company RENFE, connects Madrid with the Madrid Barajas airport through the local train network service “Cercanías” C1 line (about 30 minutes to Atocha and it costs about 2€)

In Atocha RENFE, take the Metro Line 1 (blue) to Sol (4 stops)

From Sol Metro Station to Toc Hostel you can go walking (see map below)

ATTENTION! Metro line 8 will be closed for improvements from 26 January to 18 April.

During this period, it will be possible to travel using an alternative service of buses (for free). The bus goes only from Airport to Mar de Cristal, not to Nuevos Ministerios station.

However, we do not suggest you this transport.

FROM THE AIRPORT BY BUS

Maybe not the cheapest way but probably the most direct one to go from the airport (every terminal) to Atocha Train Station (see time table below). It costs 5€ and it takes about 40 minutes. In Atocha RENFE, take the Metro Line 1 (blue) to Sol metro station (4 stops) and from there walk to the hostel.
